We offer a three-year supervision programme for Sport and Exercise Psychologists-to-be looking to undertake and complete either the BPS QSEP Stage 2 or CASES SEPAR training. Our programme includes monthly individual supervision with your allocated supervisor, quarterly group sessions, and access to over 25 hours of exclusive, practice-focused Deep Dive sessions presented by the Thinkworks team.

All Thinkworks’ practitioners are HCPC registered Sport and Exercise Psychologists, having completed either the BPS QSEP Stage 2 or CASES SEPAR training pathways. We, therefore, know how important good supervision is.

Our programme starts 1st of February. We assist our trainees with their enrolment each January.
We currently follow the SEPAR timeline for both BPS and CASES candidates.

We do not guarantee placements or work experience.
We will, of course, support your goals and needs to find appropriate experience during your training.

We run a three year supervision programme. At a minimum our programme includes monthly individual supervision, bi-monthly Deep Dives and quarterly group supervision. We give trainees on our programme a spotlight profile and a first aid for mental health qualification.

Not necessarily. This depends on your supervisors preferences but for us here at Thinkworks, we deliver both in-person and online supervision so we can accept trainees from anywhere in the UK.

Supervisor & trainee practice style and approach do not need to be the same for successful supervision.
While this is true, every supervision relationship needs foundations and non-negotiables such as respect, kindness and curiosity.
Thinkworks holds a free monthly drop-in session for anyone interested in becoming a Sport and Exercise Psychologist in Training. You’ll be able to ask questions about our supervision programme and talk about the process with one of the Thinkworks supervisors. Next drop-ins are:
