FAA / RQF Mental Health First Aid Training

Course Overview

This 1-Day On-Line course covers the content of the Level 1 course but also expands on the effects of drugs and alcohol, incorporates the First Aid for Mental Health Action Plan and covers ways in which a positive mental health culture can be supported within a workplace.

What You'll Learn

Sign and symptoms of common mental health conditions in the workplace. How to have a CARE mental health conversation. Relevant mental health charities and support to signpost. Learning is assessment through practical means and an assessment using open and multiple-choice questioning to receive the qualification.

Qualification & Certification

What makes this course different is that it is a qualification and not just a training. Our FAMH course is recognised by the Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF) and the awarding body is First Aid Awards (FAA). The qualification is valid for 3 years after completion and is RQF level 2. An e-certificate is received upon completion.
